Challenge for kindergartens, schools and libraries

Take the challenge on EU Code Week and Robot Week!

The Europen Union organizes the annual Code Week on October 10-18, 2015 and the annual Robot Week on November 23-19, 2015. These theme weeks aim to further awareness on coding and robotization as well as on their impact on the society, on people and on businesses. A specific goal is to engage young people and engourage them to choose studies and a career in coding and robotics.

Innokas Network challenges Finnish kindergartens, schools and libraries to organize coding and robotics events during the theme weeks. Your event may be targeted to a group of children in kindergarten, to a class, to the whole kindergarten or school, or to parents or library visitors. Please make sure children and students are involved in planning the event!

What to do?

Write a blog and win a great prize!

Write about your event in the Innokas Network blog!. Between classes, groups or schools who published their write-ups we'll draw four amazing prize packages on Tuesday, December 8 2015. The two first packages contain 5 pcs Lego Mindstorms EV3 robotics sets with a software license. The two other packages contain a programmable Teddybear with an introduction to programming the Teddy. You'll find instructions for writing the blog here.
