In the fall of 2019 The Innokas Network is starting the Innovative School -project funded by the National Agency for Education. The project will develop a national and local level network for innovation activity by utilizing existing Innokas and Techno-classroom activities.
During the project a concept for “The Innovative School” will be formed and this will support schools in holistic digitalisation and continuous development within learning, teaching, leadership and collaborative networks. The key agents and innovators in this development work are students, teachers, school leaders, parents and other stakeholders such as universities.
In the first phase of the project the coordinators and collaborating universities will innovate and develop together the concept of the “Innovative School” and practical activities by taking into account the technological dimensions of digital society as well as research based development. In the second phase of the project the concept of the “Innovative School” will be launched into a national working model. This launch will support the development of local innovative and digital ecosystems and school culture.
