The pedagogics of inventions – co-invention sparks the joy of inspiration!
Published on April 2nd, the Finnish book on the pedagogics on inventions “Keksimisen pedagogiikka”, different subjects are combined with fun technology use and making. Students learn current and future skills when they are guided toward open-ended and meaningful problems.
Creating is an essential part of every human’s actions. The book details how students and teachers can be supported in the creative use of technology that supports learning. Included are exciting examples of invention projects done in different grade levels.
Book publication event in the ITK-conference in the spring 2021
The publication event is postponed along with the ITK-conference to the spring 2021 and it will be held in the ITK-Arena on Thursday April 15th from 12.45 to 1.45 pm. At the event you will hear talks from teachers, students and researchers about the background and implementation of invention projects. You will also be able to hear about the experiences of teachers and students that have done these projects and about how digital technology is integrated as part of invention projects.
The publication event is directed at all who are interested in the pedagogics of inventions. Participants will receive their own copy of the brand new book (Finnish: Keksimisen pedagogiikka). The event seats 500 participants.
