Innokas Network has collaborated with Chinese schools for several years as part of the Global Innokas project funded by the Finnish National Agency for Education. A group of teachers who have participated in the collaboration; Raini Sipilä (SYK, Helsinki) and Jaana Hekkanen, Minna Kangas and Petri Korpi (Metsokankaan koulu, Oulu) have prepared a set of materials on the China collaboration. The materials allow you to get to know what Chinese schools are like and learn about collaboration opportunities with Chinese schools and teachers’ experiences on collaboration activity.

These videos about collaboration projects in Spring 2016 provide an overview of projects designed and implemented in collaboration between Finnish and Chinese teachers. In the start of Spring Finnish teachers were connected with a Chinese colleague with whom they paired up for the project. During the Spring term each teacher worked on the project in their class. In June the Finnish teachers traveled to China and met their Chinese counterparts in a conference. As part of the conference program, the Finnish-Chinese teacher pairs run their project with Chinese students.
