Developing the Innovation Education Roadmap
In the first phase of the Make it now! project (2017-2018), Innokas Network regional coordinators work with regional partner schools to develop ways to employ Maker-culture in Finnish schools. The project examines Maker culture in the context of the Innovation Education approach developed in Innokas Network and the new Finish Core Curriculum. Based on the best practices developed in the project a roadmap is drafted for Innovation Education from pre-school to ninth grade.
Sharing of results
In the second phase of the project (2018-2019) the results of the first phase, including the Innovation Education roadmap, is shared with Finnish schools. Practical sharing activity takes place virtually in social media and physically in local and national Innokas Network events and in national education events such as EDUCA, OPH-events and ITK.
