The national Innokas2024 programming and robotics tournament will be held as an open online final event on May 14, 2024. The participants to the national tournament will be selected in the regional tournaments, which are held in March 2024 in the Innokas network’s regional coordinating locations.
Registration for the regional tournaments starts on February 1st, 2024 at 8 am and closes February 29th at midnight. See additional information on the regional tournaments and how to register in the section “Regional tournaments and registration.”
In the tournament students compete in 5 events: XSumo, Rescue, Dance/theater, GameDev and in the renewed AI Freestyle. Some of the events are held and evaluated in a slightly different way in the regional tournament than in the national tournament. Steps toward the Innokas tournament:
- Friday October 13, 2023 at 9–10am: Kick-off for the programming and robotics tournament – an online lesson for childre, youth and teachers.
- February 1–29, 2024: Registration for regional tournaments
- March 1–30, 2024: Regional tournaments
- May 14, 2024: Online national final event open to everyone
